CADMATIC Wave powers digital ship design for TKMS GmbH’s Polarstern project

We are proud to announce the successful go-live of CADMATIC Wave, our design data management solution, in its first real-world implementation. The system is now actively supporting TKMS GmbH’s Polarstern project, delivered by their design and engineering partner Elomatic.
This marks a major milestone in Wave’s journey. The Polarstern design currently involves more than 100 Wave users, with the number expected to grow as the project progresses.
The go-live is the result of seamless cooperation between Cadmatic and Elomatic and reflects our collective commitment to delivering a state-of-the-art project data management environment tailored for complex shipbuilding projects.
Elomatic expects CADMATIC Wave to boost design efficiency throughout the Polarstern project. By consolidating all design data into a single source of truth, the system minimizes input effort and integrates all design partners into a streamlined process for creating, developing and consuming design data.
Wave is designed to enhance transparency, coordination, and efficiency in multi-stakeholder engineering environments. Its deployment in the Polarstern project demonstrates its capability in supporting demanding, multidisciplinary projects in real-world conditions.
