Cadmatic named Company of the Year by Tivi

Finnish IT publication Tivi has named Cadmatic its Company of the Year, recognizing the growth Cadmatic has delivered over the past year. The award appeared alongside Tivi’s annual Tivi 250 report, which ranks Finland’s 250 largest technology companies.
Explaining the reason behind the choice, Tivi’s editorial team pointed to Cadmatic’s strong performance in a difficult year for the software sector overall: Cadmatic grew revenue by 22 percent to 48 million euros last year, with an operating profit of 6.6 million euros.
“This is a well-deserved recognition of the fantastic work done by all Cadmaticans and of the continued trust that customers place in us,” says Cadmatic CMO Toni Renberg.
The recognition comes roughly two years into the tenure of CEO Detlef Schneider, who took over from long-serving CEO Jukka Rantala after his 23 years leading the company. Under Schneider, Cadmatic has reorganized its structure, brought teams together, and consolidated country organizations under local leadership.
Tivi also reported on Cadmatic’s ambitions ahead. Schneider told the publication that the company aims to grow revenue past 100 million euros within five years, and beyond 200 million euros over the longer term, pointing to a large addressable market across marine and process industries as the basis for that goal.
